'From the heart' mixed media tag with video tutorial

Hi everybody, so happy to show you some of my new projects made for 7 Dots Studio
I love the Homegrown collection so much.... the papers, the stickers, the stamps...
It inspires me to create so much!
I made a mixed media tag with this collection.
Something you maybe want to give to a person who you love dearly....
I also created a video tutorial for you

'Life' layout for 7 Dots Studio challenge July-Aug

There is a new month, a new Challenge at 7 Dots Studio!
The theme is “Favorite Quote”
I hope you'll join us this month!
My favorite quote is: It's the little things, that make life big.
Life is sometimes hard, but if you can still see the beautiful things in life, even if they are so small, those are the things that really matter...
Life is so very fragile, we have to be thankful and blessed for all the little things that makes us happy. And that’s what makes life big.

And yes, for me, it is mostly about my daughter...
All the little things we come across every day together.
When she laughs, when we enjoy a little walk outside, when we cuddle in the mornings in bed, when we enjoy the sun and have many laughs together. When she is telling me all her stories. When she is playing and having such a vivid imagination. When she tells me such wise things. When she shows me her artful drawings and how many things she learns every day… I am thankful and proud…
She is the center of my life…

I have used the wonderful papers from 7 Dots Studio:

Layout Smile + video tutorial

I am so excited to show you my first layout made as a DT member for 7 Dots Studio
My dream to be a part of this team has come true, and I still pinch myself sometimes to see if this is real!

I tried to create a soft and dreamy layout, and the Homegrown collection is just perfect for it.
My layout is called 'Smile', because of the wonderful smile my daughter has.
Her smile is what brings happiness into my life everyday.

I was inspired to use this title by the More Than Words July main challenge (Smile & Sketch)
I mirrored the sketch horizontal, this way my picture came on the upper right side of the paper, and in the left below corner are dots and splatters, used as the little piece of the sketch composition.

I made a full video tutorial for you too!
And some close up pictures....
