Smile (you make my heart smile)

Here is my new mixed media layout 'Smile' (you make my heart smile).
I was inspired by, and entering the following challenges:

Word inspiration: Escape
If I think of the word escape, I think of the laughter of my daughter.
Her smile is the only thing that makes me forget about the hard times life can give you sometimes....
Her smile creates an 'escape' to a place  where I only can be in that moment....
I am blessed to have such a wonderful little miracle in my life...
Creative challenge: Mood photo
I just loved this photo... Those colors are so very rich and gorgeous, I really love blue, purple and turqouise. The white tree inspired me to use white elements on my page.
I focused on the right half of the mood photo, for inspiration for this layout.
I used the sketch from Prima BAP for my composition.

Prima products used:

Always follow your heart...layout for Dusty Attic

Here is my new mixed media layout, created for the April Challenge at Dusty Attic
I immediately fell in love with this gorgeous moodboard.
Those colors are so very beautiful...
I would like to enter my layout for this challenge.

I loved creating this page.
All those romantic elements, flowers and soft colors, I just love to create pages like this...
Dusty Attic products used:
I used white gesso, ink-spray's, acrylic paint and inka gold on the chipboard to give them the colors that I wanted.
The foliage leaves also got a layer of clear crackle varnish. This way they really got a 'leafy' look.
Here are a few close up pictures:

Words & Paintery: Thank you for your lovely support and giving me the opportunity to be on such an amazing talented team!
I was inspired by the very talented Louise Nelson when I created this page. I  just wanted to create a page without thinking too much...
I used some lovely paper, paints and inks from 13@rts
